So I haven't posted in here about the new workout program I have embarked on, but let me tell you...it's BADASS!! This workout has made me SWEAT and want to quit (because of how hard it is!) more than any other program I have tried. Not to mention, it's full of great music (think punk rock, dub step and pop) and the trainers have awesome accents and are super goofy. This awesome program is a martial arts based home fitness program- Les Mill's COMBAT.
I did Tae Kwon-Do for 7 years growing up. I had a six pack when I was in SIXTH grade, seriously no joke. I don't think people realize just how much cardio and core conditioning is involved with every move. Each kick shapes your butt, your legs, and you core! Each punch shapes your shoulders, arms, and CORE!! Every move works multiple muscles and burns CRAZY amounts of calories.
When I saw this program was coming to the Beachbody family I was absolutely ecstatic! I knew that I would love this program just from my history with the sport, and since doing these workouts, it has not disappointed me yet!! I thought that these workout programs would be way easier than actual Tae Kwon-Do class, but they sure do burn tons of calories, make me sweat like a pig (which doesn't really happen to me with home fitness workouts), and makes my legs shake like never before. I finally found it- my soul mate workout!

Les Mill's COMBAT is comprised of 3 different schedules: the beginning schedule is called Warrior and it only has five scheduled workouts, the intermediate schedule is Supreme Warrior and that schedule is 6 days a week, and finally the advanced schedule is the Ultimate Warrior which is 6 days a week and 3 of which are double work outs.
The great thing about this program is that every day the workouts are different. Some other workout programs that I have done have repeated the same workouts a couple times a week. And that's not good when you get distracted/bored easily. So this program definitely keeps my interest with the switch ups of workouts everyday. The workouts range anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
